Projects

As GLWA prepares for the future, strategic investments in infrastructure help ensure safe, reliable water for the region. The Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) is a five-year roadmap that identifies the projects and funding needed to modernize aging water, wastewater, and shared service systems.

Planning for the Future of Our Water

GLWA’s Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) supports the continuation of major capital asset investment in programs and projects that will upgrade the Authority’s aging water and wastewater system infrastructure, as well as the overarching Centralized Service infrastructure that supports both systems. The CIP is a five-year plan which identifies capital projects and programs and their respective financing options. The plan is updated annually to reflect changing system needs, priorities and funding opportunities.
