The film uses easy to understand language and engaging video to tell the story behind wastewater treatment at the Great Lakes Water Authority. The video features members of our Wastewater Operations Team and shows all the hard work the men and women of the Water Resource Recovery do to protect human health and the environment.

When we wash our clothes, water our lawns, and do the dishes, the water we use has to go somewhere. What happens to it when it swirls down the drain?
The Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) worked with the team at First Fight animation studio to create a video describing one of the most complex systems in the world. “Where Does the Water Go?” uses vibrant animation and simple explanations to show you what goes on beneath the pavement.
