GLWA hires first Chief Operating Officer for Wastewater Operations

Dear GLWA Team Members,

It is my pleasure to announce that GLWA has hired Navid Mehram, P.E., as its Chief Operating Officer for Wastewater Operations. This is another first for GLWA, to have a COO solely dedicated to the wastewater operations team.

Navid is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Michigan, who brings a wealth of wastewater operations experience to the table, including that of his most recent position as Chief Engineer for the Oakland County Water Resource Commissioner’s Office. During his tenure at the WRC’s Office, Navid provided leadership to water resource recovery facilities, sewage pump stations, community well systems, and retention basins. Navid also brings experience as a wastewater operations consultant. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Wayne State University.

Navid joins the GLWA team on October 1, 2018.

Please give him a One Water One Team welcome when you meet him!

Sincerely,

Sue McCormick
