Repairs

The Central Services Facility (CSF) originally served as the site of the Chrysler Corporation’s Huber Foundry. Constructed in 1962, the location was used by the automaker to cast engine blocks, axles and other automotive components.

The CSF coordinates repairs and houses both the Meter Operations Division and the Mechanical Maintenance Division. CSF also contains GLWA’s trade shop – including one of two operational blacksmith shops for the City of Detroit.
