If your FEMA claim has been denied, click here for step-by-step instructions on how to file an appeal with FEMA (scroll down to the “If You are Denied” section). The City is also encouraging residents who need assistance with their claim to visit either of its two Disaster Recovery Centers: Kemeny Recreation Center (2260 S. Fort Street) and The Salvation Army (3000 Conner Street).

Public Notice regarding GLWA’s October 13 Operations and Resources Committee meeting

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: The State of Michigan Open Meetings Act (SB1108), allows remote telephonic and electronic participation in public meetings and hearings for public bodies subject to the Act during certain state or local emergencies. At this time, local health departments within the GLWA service area have declared emergencies related to the risk of infection associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The meeting of the GLWA Operations and Resources Committee scheduled for October 13, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. will be held via Zoom and its telephonic capabilities.  Members of the public who wish to attend this meeting can do so in the following manner:
