STATEMENT: Update on Oakland County transmission main work progress October 25, 2017
Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) crews have been on the site of the scene of the Oakland County water transmission main break since it first occurred. Last night, they successfully excavated the broken section of 48-inch pipe. This morning, the new pieces of pipe arrived on the scene, and will be installed throughout the day.
